Fish Tank CD Player [the last one in 2005]

I just bought a new DVD writer; therefore, the old CD driver lost its job. It was unwise to throw it away. A new idea came out from my mind.
The following figure is the blue print.

Take off the cover. Why? You will know later.
One more look
Borrow this one from my uncle, I do not know what the name is in English.
Here, I need 6 pieces of 5mm-thick glass. According to the size of the CD driver, I calculated out the following data.
20cm X 20cm 2 pieces
15cm X 15.5cm 2 pieces
20cm X 15.5cm 1 piece
20cm X 14.5cm 1 piece
( Note: need to consider the thickness of the glass)
Went to buy glass in the market. Easy!
Back home. Check them again.
The power supply.
I spent 4 hours to stick these 6 pieces of glass together. It drove me crazy. Then I had to wait about 12 hours until the glue get dry.
Time passed.

clean it
paste the adhesive tape on the edge of the glass so that they won't hurt my hands.
put the CD driver back in to the tank. It could not be better.

put in some water.
wait, take out the CD driver. In case....
After 15 minutes, everything is fine. No leaking.
put some stones.

Put the CD driver back into.
Power on and connect the speaker. It works perfect.
What? Where is the fish?

Two golden fish. The bigger one with red back is called SUN, and the other one with white back is called MOON. Funny.
It seems they love their new singing home.
I recorded a video. Watch carefully, they are dancing with the playing music.
All done! I am so happy to create this fish tank CD player. Furthermore, I had learned lots of things during the process.
