BlackBerry Surveillance System

General idea:
BlackBerry + Web Camera = Personal Surveillance System.

How it works:

  1. There is a PC software been installed on my laptop, and it works with a web camera.
  1. Then the camera starts to ¡°watch¡± my room, and it will detect any motions. For example, if a stranger comes into my room, the camera will take a shot, and then send an email with the photo to my BlackBerry.

Usages:
Customers can put the camera wherever they want to watch. List some examples below.
The front door: Who is standing outside? Who broke into your house?
The backyard: The stranger came into my backyard?
The baby room: Your baby woke up, but you were still in the kitchen?
The parking lot: You parked your car in the street, who hit or scratched your car?
The work place: Who touched my project? Who used my computer?
There are a lot of things which you may concern when you leave.

It also allows the camera to take a shot every certain time. Therefore, people can watch their plants or pets when they go out for a long time.

People can take a picture of anything, and send an email to friends who have BlackBerry.

If the device and the wireless are fast enough, it can play the real-time video on the BlackBerry.

Why I think it is good:
Actually, I had this idea since last year, and I posted on my website.

At that time, I dreamed that I can get those shots when I was outside anywhere. But I have to check them on a PC which also connects to the internet. Now, I think the BlackBerry is a perfect solution for this simple Surveillance System.

I think it might be a strong advantage to beat all other mobile devices in the current market. It will be a free feature added on the blackberry, and people will love it.

Anyway, it doesn¡¯t cost too many efforts to achieve this idea, but it will give customers a brand new experience of using mobile device.
